The Conference Center at the Fireweed Business Center offers the finest in modern technology, spatial comfort and flexible design. Able to accommodate unique requests—from small, intimate functions to moderate-sized events—the Conference Center is prepared to tailor the space to suit your specific needs.

The main room is equipped with high definition video monitors and an integrated audio system. In addition, a separate video conference room with dual 4K monitors can connect your meeting to anywhere in the world.

Catering

You may use your preferred caterer or self-cater the event. The Fireweed Business Center will provide a list of preferred caterers upon request. An on-site kitchen is available for your use and adjacent to the conference center. You are responsible for cleaning the space and leaving it in its original state.

Audio/Visual

All spaces are equipped with high definition video monitors and an integrated audio system. In addition, the separate video conference room with dual 4K monitors can connect your meeting to anywhere in the world.

The Main room is equipped with two 80 inch 1080p resolution wall-mounted monitors that can pull out 2.5 feet with a rotation of 145 degrees. They can also be tilted up or down approx. 35 to 45 degrees. The room is also equipped with a projector that descends from the ceiling, which is capable of displaying up to 1920x1200p resolution from multiple input sources.
This room can be divided into two rooms and works great for break out sessions.

In the north end of the room, there is also a one 80 inch wall-mounted monitor with the same capabilities.

Microphone, video and audio output controls can be combined to allow for use for a variety of room and table configurations. Ceiling microphones can be used for room-wide audio capability. Hand-held and lapel microphones are also available.

Room functionality on the first floor is managed via a room-specific iPad, which includes:

  • Cable TV remote
  • Camera pan-tilt-zoom functionality
  • Room lighting
  • Speaker and microphone volume
  • Projector and screen dropdown
  • Input source selection (HDMI, HDMI mini, 1st and 2nd generation iPads, DVI and DisplayPort)

Things to Consider

  • A computer is built into the first floor large and small conference rooms, as well as the video conference room. Please provide your own laptop if using a specialty program and your own specialty adaptors.

Extra charges
• Unscheduled site visits $25/hour.
• Additional clean-up and labor for excessively dirty spaces.
• Maintenance charges for damaged equipment.

Terms and conditions

Providing the requested information to CIRI well in advance of an event is the responsibility of the user. Conference Center users are encouraged to inspect space prior to event to ensure it will accommodate needs. Users are required to use the protective table pads and cloths if serving any hot or cold platters, food trays or boxes (e.g. pizza boxes) are to be placed on it. CIRI will provide these items.

A coffee machine and carafes are available for use, as well as coffee, cream, sugar, cups, tea and water. After the meeting, all areas (including kitchen) should be cleaned, food and beverage disposed of and all items picked up before departing.

Please be advised that security cameras are on premises and continuously recording. CIRI nor the Fireweed Business Center are responsible for missing or damaged personal items. Please contact CIRI at (907) 263-5502 for questions.
